South Sudan's President Salva KIR has conveyed status to mediate among Sudan and Ethiopia to end their limit battle, said Sudan's Sovereign Council on Thursday.
Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah Albertan on Thursday met with Tut Atlas, South Sudan's true aide on security endeavors, who passed on a verbal message from KIR, the chamber said in an attestation.
"President Salva KIR has imparted status to intercede among Sudan and Ethiopia to show up at a political and optional plan according to the apparent overall lines in preservation of the kindly ties between the two countries and the concordance nearby," Gateway was refered to by the affirmation as saying. For the limit question with Ethiopia, Gateway added.
Since Sept. 2020, the Sudan-Ethiopia line has been seeing rising strains and conflicts between the various sides.
