German Chancellor Angela Merkel asked "patience" in the crisis of the Coronavirus, saying that society will have to "live with the virus" until a vaccine is available.
"It will need patience ... It will depend on whether people continue to stay away from each other and wash their hands," Merkel said at a press conference.
Although the infection rate has slowed in Germany in recent days, Merkel warned that Covid-19 "will not disappear before we have a vaccine to immunize the population, and that means living with this virus."
