Ethiopian women, such as women in other parts of Africa, Asia and Latin America, are subject to unbearable persecution. Although the Ethiopian Constitution is dynamic, the persecution continues due to the lack of limits of implementation of the public authority. Provincial regions house 85 percent of Ethiopians, and it is here that much of women's oppression takes place. There are several amaric maxims in Ethiopia that are hard and degrading for women, such as "a lady and a moron can carry a precipitation; a young man nourished by a lady seems to be ..." There are many more similar idioms.
As soon as the base of religion was placed, it began to spread by Ethiopia. In the year 615 AD, the prophet Muhammad urged a group of Muslims to go to Ethiopia in search of a refuge of tyranny they faced in Mecca, Arabia. The strict evacuates were protected by the then King Axum, who rejected the requests to deport them back to Arabia. 33.9 percent of the population practices Islam, which makes it the second most common religion in the country. East of Ethiopia is currently the model community of Islamic culture, and most Muslims of Ethiopia are Sunnas. Harar, the fourth Santa del Islam city, is here. It is a walled city with a population of approximately 122,000 people and 82 mosques, three of which date from the ninth century.
