Finnish higher education institutions are urged to increase their international cooperation and create new activities for mobility. One way to internationalize is to design and offer implementations in line with its associated universities. In the Digilog project (digital study and virtual study practices for modern logistics systems), we create the online study module to study institutional interns.
DIGILOG is an international project for higher education development funded by the Erasmus + program. The designed study module (15 credits) focuses on transport management and logistics from a multinational work environment that consider support systems for digital decision and simulation tools. An objective is to harmonize and renew the content and develop the competition of the internationalization of students and teachers. (Kabashkin 2021).
We use the online learning design model of Carpe Diem Online, to support shared understanding during the planning and construction of the module. The model is a cooperative approach, based on the team for learning design and is adequate to design or redesign a course, module, unit or program. The idea behind Carpe Diem is based on competition and learning focused on students. (Salmon et al. 2020).
