The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is the greatest of the Oriental Orthodox Churches in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church split away from mainline Christianity a long time before the Great Schism and simply sees the underlying three ecumenical social events: Nicea, Constantinople, and Ephesus.
