On May 28, 1991, after being questioned by members of the Tiger Liberation Front (TPLF) in Ethiopia, many Ethiopians at home and abroad celebrated together. After 17 years of general conflict that killed many Ethiopians and forced many women to become single parents, there is no better information for everyone than the Creator of the terrible Ethiopian people who suffered for a long time.

The destruction of the Derg, the socialist system responsible for the transit of thousands of Ethiopian youths (and generally instructed) during the Red Terror Crusade, resulted in the largely documented mass visits by many of the Ethiopian diaspora at home. Some are interested in what, in a few years' time, could be an altruistic political space in conflict with a multi-party framework; others basically come to relatives they haven't been able to find for years; while some gather their gear and embark on the journey of a lifetime building private organizations in a changing economy.

The last two remain possible so far. Many Ethiopians have taken the opportunity to return home, busy with thriving private organizations. But for those who believe in legal matters, their fate will be at home, in early July 1991 there was great disappointment, because the transitional government at that time under President Meles Zenawi along with 27 other constitutional factions defended the right to compensation (Article 39 of the Constitution). Two outstanding achievements of the recently promulgated Constitution are the beneficiaries of a borderless economy and the creation of a unified Ethiopia.
