The Tinel project began because there is a lack of UDEL material for teachers. Therefore, the first step was to organize an open call for the cases of UDEL with the purpose of assigning and exploring inclusive practices in learning and the implementation aspects of UDL approaches in HEI. The call was designed to reveal good practices that can serve as exemplary and innovative procedures, as well as good examples of dissemination and implementation that could inspire other Heis. To reveal and map the best learning and UDEL practices in Heis, an open call was announced for presentations in these areas.

 

In the process of implementing the call, an enrollment form based on the Web based on improvement LED evaluation principles was designed. The evaluation of the improvement LED is based largely on the participation and interaction of the different parts in HEI, the objective is to help Heis identify its strengths, good practices and areas that need development in its operations (Evaluation Center of Education in Finland, 2017). By including the self-assessment questions in the Registration Form, the evaluation of the applicant's proposal meant to provide sufficient evidence for the evaluation.

 

By the deadline, nine proposals were received. All proposals were carefully evaluated by the expert panel selected by the Tinel Project Group. Of the nine proposals, these four were selected as nominees for best practices:
