:By the turn of the fifteenth century distinctive unique duplicates, especially Psalters (volumes containing the Book of Psalms, routinely with other respectful material), are sometimes laid out and crosses are habitually enriched with depictions of blessed individuals and of the Virgin and Child (above). The most prompt suffering Ethiopian images moreover date from this century (above and under). Formed sources recommend that the Ethiopian Emperor Jar'a Ya'EOB upheld the usage of board materials in sanctuary services. While other tasteful mediums used during the fifteenth century are by and large obliged to the forte of the fourteenth century, the images incorporate new iconographic topics and the lines are more rich and screwy and the figures have less unyielding stances.
